Health and Healing from a Biblical stand point should be a combination of
Faith and Common Sense.
According to the Holy Scriptures in Isa. 53 Jesus has taken are spiritual
sickness (sin) away which is in many cases the root of physical illness.
Remember that is was because of sin originally that man had to die [Gen. 3:2]
This principle is clearly seen in James 5:16 (New King James Version)
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you
may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
See it is first and foremost the removal of sin that generates or starts the
healing process.
Furthermore, in Mark 16:17 Jesus Declares, " . . . . [those that follow Him] will
cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up
serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them;
they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
Jesus said that He came to give life, and life more abundantly [John 10:10].
Yet Jesus expects us to use a certain level of common sense because He has
given us a sound mind [2Tim 1:7]
The days are now here in which are known as the "End Times" in the
Christian faith. The beginning of this time is called, "the beginning of Sorrows"
[Matt. 24:7-8 / Mark 13:8]. Two words in these verses: famines and
pestilences indicate server suffering for all humanity - especially those who do
not prepare in advance.
Pestilences if looked up indicate that a pestilence is any virulent and highly
infectious disease that can cause an epidemic or even a pandemic. The word
can also be used about parasites causing large scale sickness and death,
such as Guinea worm.

God has created everything in harmony and a perfect balance. We need to
utilize all of creation and manage it in such a way that is honoring to God. The
