One of thee most important thing when considering getting off the grid is
safe drinkable water that is renewable. Its important to think about two main
types of filters; one for your home/homestead and one for your bug out bag.
There are two different camping style / survival style filters that I would
personally recommend. The first one is the Katadyn Microfilter, the second
is the Life Saver water bottle filter - both are great from my research. I have
yet to test either but would have confidence in either one.
