Fingerprinting

State Police Fingerprinting:

Maryland State Police, you must appear in person at a Maryland State Police
Barrack on the day they provide fingerprinting services. At that time you must
present a valid form of government-issued photo identification and a check or
money order for $5.00 for each fingerprint card required (usually two are
required). You will then have your fingerprints taken and those fingerprints will
be checked against state and local databases. You will receive a response to
our inquiry within a few weeks.

Baltimore County Police Fingerprinting Services:

Fingerprinting services are provided in the lobby of the Public Safety Building,
700 E. Joppa Road, Towson, Maryland 21286, on Thursdays and Saturdays
(excluding holidays) from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

This service is available to citizens who are required to submit fingerprints for
employment applications such as day care workers, security guards,
contractors working at certain government agencies, or for any other reason.
A fee of $5.00 per fingerprint card is charged, and citizens must bring with
them the fingerprint cards provided by the agency requesting the prints.
