Information about Rankings:
We at the American Christian Defense Alliance, Inc. do not discriminate
on the basis of age, sex, racial / ethnic background or martial arts
affiliation. We believe that it is our responsibility not to hinder or
burden the Body of Christ in any way and help to improve, impact, and
empower, all while disciplining believers in the faith. However, Rank
Recognition is limited to US citizens only.
It is our philosophy that if a person is old enough to fight and die for
their country than that person is old enough to potentially be a black
belt. Furthermore, it is our philosophy that because of technology, and
the vast resources available to the warrior today it is possible to
develop much higher levels of skill in much shorter time frames. We
strongly believe this at the American Christian Defense Alliance, Inc.
and seek to facilitate the modern warrior who wishes to serve Christ,
their families, and their country and unleash the potential of individuals
around them through the use of martial arts.
Rank is therefore solely based on maturity, talent, and ability.
Ranked Members of the American Christian Defense Alliance, Inc Must
Now Become Certified and will Now be Posted on our Site
Those wishing to become Ranked through the American Christian
Defense Alliance in Seisho Ryu Goshin-Jutsu must now also complete
all the requirements to become a Certified Instructor. You must be at
least a Black Belt to become a Certified Instructor. Those without such
rank are encouraged to applied here for Rank Recognition with the
American Christian Defense Alliance, Inc.
Please Note: To become a Certified Instructor you will need to
complete a background check and a medical check.
The American Christian Defense Alliance, Inc. will only rank test by
video (DVD/VHS/You Tube) up to the level of 1st Degree Black Belt. If
we feel your skill level is below that of a Black Belt, we will award you
the appropriate belt level for your skills demonstrated.
However, individuals who Rank Test at ACDA/SRG schools or events
will be eligible to receive Rank Recognition higher then Shodan level.
Division Heads, Regional Representatives, and State Representatives
are authorized to Rank Test and may Rank up to one belt level below
their current rank.
Please be Advised, testing fees must be paid directly to the Honbu
Dojo prior to testing.

- Rank Test (either by video or in person -but still filmed)
- Start at the beginning and train to get your white belt in person or by our
distance education video training series.

- You must be a US Citizen
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have at least a High School Diploma or GED
- Be a Born-Again Christian (Have a relationship with Jesus Christ)
- Don't Smoke, Drink, or use Drugs!
- Must not be associated with any hate groups!
- Be in agreement with our doctrinal positions
- Faithfully vow to practice and demonstrate honor, integrity, and justice
- Be a Member of the American Christian Defense Alliance, Inc. ($50.00
Initial Membership Dues & $25.00 Annual Renewal of Membership)
Process to become Ranked/Certified:
- The Application for Certification
- Three Reference Checks (not filled out by the applicant)
- Submit a copy of your State Drivers License or State ID
- Personal Assessment
- A Physical Description Sheet
- Nine Recent Photos Submitted(Passport size -3 Front, 3 Left, 3 Right, 1
Full Frontal 5x7 or 8x10) - Criminal Background Check (including fingerprint submission by your
local law enforcement agency) - Medical Waiver Signed - Stating you have no communicable or
transferable diseases etc. and are in good health - Contract with African American Community and Other Minority Groups
signed. - Letter from Pastor (if applicable)
- Personal Testimony of Our Lord Jesus Christ in your life.
- Send in copies of your previous rank for review
- Send in footage of you instructing your martial arts class or student.
Responsibilities of Ranked/Certified Members:
- Maintain the highest level of honesty, integrity and professionalism.
- Place ACDA logo and link on your home page and mention your
affiliation with the American Christian Defense Alliance, Inc. - Pay your initial membership dues of $100.00 and your annual
membership renewal dues of $25.00. - Actively tithe 10% or as the Lord leads you.
- Follow ACDA / SRG policies, practices, guidelines, statement of faith,
and vision. - Build Leaders in the Body of Christ
- Take Action for the Kingdom of God in Real and Practical ways to
Unleash the potential of the Body of Christ. - Be involved and committed to improving, impacting and empowering
your community and division for the Kingdom of God. - Work as a Team for the Glory of God.
- Do Not get caught up in things that divide the Body of Christ such as:
- Doctrinal / Theological differences
- Organizational / Denominational Politics
- Not to Hinder the Spirit of God.
- Honor and a sense of belonging
- Vision for the Future

- I will be looking at your body movement, and technique as well as your
mindset - If you practice weapons please include offensive and defensive
techniques - Please DO Not include any Katas as we DO Not do katas in Seisho Ryu
Goshin-Jutsu - Please show practical applications of your techniques with real world
mindset - Show as many throws, projections, locks, submissions, weapons
techniques as you have - Please also show your punching and kicking techniques in full
- If you have techniques for taking on more than one person please
include this as well - Then video part of one of your classes as you are instructing (like 5
minutes) - Hopefully you will be wearing your new ACDA or SRG patch during the
video - Please show techniques on actual people (its worth stating, lol)
- You can include anything else you'd like but this is the basic stuff.
