Essence of Ninjutsu
. . . It is the same with the martial arts. The skills of self- protection, which often
develop without a balance in the personality and lead the lesser martial artist
into warped realms of unceasing conflict and competition which eventually
consume him.

acceptable to use these skills in "defense" of your belief system
presentation. However, we must ask an important question to ourself if we are
thinking of entering such a competition: Mainly, Are we a fighter or a warrior.
Be honest with yourself, and be true to who you are. There are very few
warriors, but there are many fighters. Which ever you are accept it and
embrace it to the fullest to better enable yourself to fulfill your destiny, and all
that God calls you to do.
nothing inherently wrong with that -but there is a higher level, an enlightened
level that few find. Furthermore, you have no idea what God will need your
skills for down the road or how he will guide your life -so be ready to be a
useful vessel for God's use when the time comes.
If you are seeking to change into a warrior it will take time and commitment to
re-mold your heart and mind into that of a warrior as well as faith -and even
then there are no guarantees, only the hope that God is able to change you
into a true warrior (Dan. 5:13 - [20-21] - 31 / Exodus 4:21, 7:3-4, 2Cor.
3:11-4:1, 5:17). For what is impossible for man is possible for God.
Being that we are a Christian organization we do not believe in competition in
this sense because it brings with it pride, and we know from God's Word pride
comes before a fall. Furthermore, being a Ninjutsu organization, we hold to
the traditional art's way which stresses to only use the art during times of
necessity. Also, there is no sparing in the traditional art because it is
designed for actual combat -struggles in which lives hang in the balance of
success or failure. If you are seeking a place to compete, spare, get plastic
trophies or get a ego boast Seisho Ryu Ninjutsu would not be a good choice
for you this is not how we conduct our ministry. ~A
